In one word- Everything! The Hero HX 250R has a 249cc motor at its heart which is a single-cylinder four-stroke unit. The highlight is the fact that this motor produces a maximum power output of 31 BHP and a peak torque of 26 NM which is way more than any other quarte- litre bike on sale in the country, including the famed KTM 200 Duke. It is a fuel injected engine and gets mated to a 6-speed manual transmission which is a first for Hero MotoCorp. The 4-valve engine makes use of liquid cooling and the bike gets an underbelly exhaust like the KTM 200/390 Duke and the Bajaj Pulsar 200 NS.
