The second generation Pulsar 180 DTSi UG2 was equipped with same 178.6cc air cooled 4-stroke DTS-i engine tweaked to produce 16.5 Ps of power at 8500 Rpm. The bike also had upgraded 17 inches alloy wheels with all blacked out theme, wider rear tyre, nitrox filled rear shock absorber and "ExhausTec" technology in exhaust system.
